I thought I'd expand on my previous comment. I work for Hampden Plc, who own Hampden House, where almost all the 'old country manor' scenes were shot. I've just re-watched this for the first time since the 1970s, a really good horror, with surprisingly good special effects considering it was made in 1967.

I've just re-watched this for the first time in about forty years. A lovely little gothic/Victorian horror starring of all people comedian Frankie Howerd. Surprisingly it's not full of 1970s slapstick and smut. Well worth a look if you haven't seen it.

Well I've been trying to find that farm for years, I spent hours scouring google earth and researching staddle barns in Buckinghamshire, all to no avail. Yet again HHoH is on the FreeView Horror channel, this time last thing on Monday nights, which for me is surreal, I work at the House every Tuesday.

#2 sounds like something from 'The Witches of Eastwick' 1987. Though I vaguely remember an older horror movie where some of the characters have a devils' hoof instead of one foot.

Carry on Screaming is my favourite, if you took out the comedy it would still be a very good Gothic horror movie.

'Do you mind if I smoke' has got to be one of the best visual gags ever, I so regret I never got to see it first time round at the cinema. The audience reaction must have been fantastic.
