Thanks to Mike Humphrey who visited the site, the location of the house used as the Morton's family home has been discovered.

Its Norcutt Court Farm in Dudswell Nr. Berkhampsted.

Just watched 'The Orphange' - A Spanish horror film produced by Guiermo Del Torro.

An excellent ghost story that relies more on atmosphere and story than special effects.
