Carry on at your convenience is my favourite. Is there a definiteive list and/or complete boxed set available? I've seen boxed sets but never one with all the films in.

I have an excellent copy of it on DVD I got from a guy on ebay. He tapes the movie from the TV then edits out commercial breaks, etc. and makes them into a very professional-looking DVD. As of today, I can see a copy available for £2.95 + £1 p&p. I think its the same guy but can't be sure.

A meet would be good. :) I've recently moved to Reading and I guess that a lot of the locations are near by. I'd love to check them out and meet up with a few of you guys.

Thanks to everyone who replied, it was an episode from alfred hitchcock presents in 1985, called FINAL ESCAPE. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of it from... I'm 31 and I must have caught a second showing (1983/4?) as I would have only been 5 in 1980. I managed to remember a good 5 or 6 episodes before I got the boxed set. I even remembered the title sequence. Very much a classic series!

I'm not quite sure of the movie you mentioned. Have you tried looking up Amicus films as well? Them and Hammer were both quite prominent at the same time and made very similar movies.

Same here, spooky ending that still sends a tingle down the spine. I agree with your second choice too.

Question for moderator

Hi,

Can we change the poll options limit to 13? I was hoping to set up some episode popularity polls but I keep getting a message telling me that I'm using too many poll options. Splitting the poll is just silly really.

Cheers!

Just a hello

Hi, I'm Steve, 31 and living in Coventry, West Midlands. I'm a big fan of British Horror. Especially any from Hammer and Amicus. Its good to know that I'm not alone in my passion for these films and series!

They're all classics in their own right. I don't think I have a particular favourite but the doctor ones always spring to mind when the movies are mentioned.
