the telephone box is defenitaly a prop,as when Denholm Elliot opens the door,it is very flimsey and plastic looking,the original k2 boxes had thick heavy doors cast from iron! plus the heavy duty door return mechanism at the top.Im not sure where lower moat manor is but it must be within the area of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire as most of the series locations are.
I think the actual house probably had been made up to look a bit castle like as on screen it looks unconvincing and wooden and out of style for the area.
Does anyone know where the demolition scenes were filmed at the end?
