Is this the Hampden house you talked about in previous post? I love the house they show at the beginning of each film and was wondering if there are other photos of it on the net or if someone here has photos of it.

:D

Most of the interior shots in the series were done in the house.

The rooms were transformed into various sets and they employed a lot of painters and carpenters to do it.

I was the camera technician on most of the episodes. every part of the house was used in some way or other even the tennis court was used as an exercise area for the circus animals used in one episode. On one occasion some people from a paranormal outfit came and stayed overnight to attempt to film a ghost that was supposed to be in the house. they had no luck but we offered to keep a lookout for this apparition and let them know if we saw it.
We not only saw it but photographed for them! amazing what you can do with simple special effects. most special effects on the series was done at the time of shooting and was a lot of fun.

It can be particularly spooky outside around November time when it's misty, the House is at an altitude where the top of a mist cloud sits at about waste level, wading through a sea of mist is quite eerie.
