Quatermass and the Pit

Post by Yosemite Slam »

Hi. Would I be alone on here in thinking that Quatermass and the Pit is the best film Hammer ever made and, if not, how do people rate their other Quatermass movies?

Really good film, not seen that in years, why don't they repeat the good stuff!

Yosemite, a great argument could be made as to whether this is Hammer's best film. At the very, very worst it is in the top 5. I find it difficult to believe that others consider the first two Quatermass films better. This is one of the greats!

I've just re-watched this for the first time since the 1970s, a really good horror, with surprisingly good special effects considering it was made in 1967.
