I love this one , i saw it as a kiddie and have loved it since , one of Cushings best i reckon , some films make an impact and this one did on me for sure. John Hurt as the yokel is great-" they got something in that shut room sir..... it eats human flesh", great stuff.

I once saw a story about a guy who goes into a phone box and gets trapped and is unable to alert any passer by for help . I dont recall much more apart from the climax where the box is taken away , still with the guy inside and put in a place full of phone boxes with terrified people inside each on...
