I am pretty sure this is a late 60's Hammer TV series - does anyone know if it's available on video or DVD?

Journey To The Unknown is a Hammer series from 1969.With so many old tv series appearing on the shelves in the past few years I think it's only a matter of time before its released...Fingers crossed!!..

Not at the moment, check eBay as there's a couple of people who convert movies taped from TV onto DVD (if they're not already available to buy on DVD)

Watch out though .. i think the entire Journey to the Unknown DVD is a smeary NTSC (American standard) copy, but recorded by someone in the UK when SKY repeated the series. I might be wrong though. I know some ITV companies (notably TVS) repeated JTTU in 1982, so it may be an OK PAL version from then.

you are correct, i asked abot the quality of each episode and to be fair i was told that the quality of each episode varied from good to ok, i have many of these on vhs when i first saw them during the early 1980's

The series has never had an official release either here or in the states which is a great shame.
